Sead Odzic |
Sead has transferred to ISU from the University of Southern California where he averaged 3.2 points and 1.2 rebounds as a freshman last season. He will have 2 1/2 years of eligibility remaining. He averaged 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists as a senior at Niles West High School. He finished his high school career with a shooting percentage of better than 40 percent from three-point range. He was a three-time All-Central-Suburban South League first team selection and was a All-State Illinois selection. He garnered all-tournament honors at the Pontiac Holiday tournament in December. Played on an AAU team that went 29-1 during the summer between his junior and senior seasons and played with some of the best talent in the country. Frank Rusnak of highschoolelite.com compared Odzic's game to that of Peja Stojakovic of the Sacramento Kings, "Quick releases on perfect shots, that are comparable to few others." |
