Coach Porter Moser received his second verbal commitment in as many days as Osiris Eldridge of Phillips High School in Chicago announced his intention to play at ISU. The 6' 3" shooting guard averaged 20 points/game as a Sophomore, and 21 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists and nearly 5 steals per game as a junior for Phillips. Chicagohoops.com rates Eldridge the 10th best prospect in the state of Illinois. As a junior Eldridge finished 1st in the Class AA Dunk Contest. Illinois Prep Bulls-eye awarded Eldridge the Dow Jones award as the player in Illinois who raised his stock the most during the past summer. Osiris is currently ranked in the top 150 players in the nation, and was a member of the Top 20 All Star Team at the Adidas Superstar Camp in Atlanta Ga. |
