Coach Jankovich got a verbal commitment from 6' 8", 210lb Jeremy Robinson for the 08/09 season. Robinson averaged 15 points and 10 rebounds for Decatur Eisenhower High School as a junior. He previously live in Mississippi, where he averaged 17 points and 9 rebounds as a freshman for H.W. Beyers High School, nad played as a sophomore at Oxford High School, before moving to Decatur Illinois. He verballed to the University of Mississippi, but backed out of the commitment after the coaching staff was fired. Robinson said he also had offers from Bradley, Wichita State, Iowa, Penn State, Iowa State, Dayton, Wright State, and Tulane. PrepSpotlight currently ranks him as the #26 Power Forward in the country. Chicagohoops ranks him the 11th best overall player in the state in the 08 class. |
