Coach Jankovich has signed his first recruit in Emmanuel Holloway, from Iowa Western Junior College. Holloway, a 6-2 guard, averaged a team-best 15.2 points per game to go along with 3.7 rebounds per game. Holloway's 75 steals also led the team.. He made 39 percent of his three-point field goal shots, and 74 percent of his free throw attempts last season. Holloway was also recruited by Houston, Arkansas, Colorado State and Miami (Fla). In high school he led Woodland High School in points (20) and assists (5). His outstanding performance made him "Northwest Georgia Player of the Year" in 2004 and back-to-back “POY” in Bartow County. |
