The Redbirds received their first verbal commitment for the spring signing period. Dominitrix "Dom" Johnson, a 6' 0" combo guard from Three Rivers Junior College cancelled a visit to Bradley after his visit at ISU. Johnson averaged 15.8 points, 2.5 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1 steal per game for the Raiders, while shooting 81.5% from the line, 38.4% from the field and 40.1% from behind the arc. Three Rivers finished the season 23-8. Johnson played for Bell City High School in Missouri. That team won the Class 1A championship his sophomore and senior seasons, and they compiled an 88-15 record in his 3 years as a starter. He averaged 29.2 points per game and also led the team with 9.2 rebounds and 5.9 assists as a senior. He scored over 40 points in 7 different games that season. |
