ISU got a late edition to their basketball squad when 6' 8" 240lb Nigerian Chukwudinma "Dinma" Odiakosa was granted a visa that the ISU coaching staff has been working to get granted for the last 15 months. Dinma graduated from Delta State High School in Akwukwu-Igbo Nigeria. He has only been playing organized basketball for 4 years He was a member of the Nigerian National team and participated in the FIBA Under 21 World Championships in Argentina. Dinma was third on the team in scoring, averaging 7.8 ppg, and led the team in rebounds with 6.2 rpg. |
