3” Brandon Holtz from
Bloomington
has announced his intentions to sign with ISU during the next signing
period. As a Junior, Holtz connected on 81 three pointers, averaged 20.4
points/game, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, shot 46% from 3 point territory, and
made 89 of 112 free throws (80%). Holtz was a first-team all-Big 12 and
Pantagraph All-Area pick, and received honorable mention on the Illinois
Basketball Coaches Association Class AA all-state team. Holtz has
developed a reputation as one of the best pure shooters in the state of
Illinois.
