"Boo" Richardson |
Keith "Boo" Richardson plans to sign with the Redbirds during the fall signing period. Richardson averaged 15.6 points, 5.1 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 2.4 steals per game as a sophomore. He also averaged 39 minutes played per game while shooting 41% from the field,, 31% from 3 point territory and 78% from the line. Boo led the Ravens in scoring (15.6 ppg), assists (190), and steals (88). The Ravens won their conference championship in both seasons with Boo running the point and finish in 7th place in the national junior college tournament. He was was named to the first team NJCAA All-American Team. He was named to to the first team KJCCC East All-Conference team, and was also named to the first team All-Region VI team and Region Player of the Year. He also won the Bud Obee Most Outstanding Small Player Award given to those players no taller than 6-1 who displayed good character, leadership and loyalty to fellow players and coaches. He was also recruited by New Mexico, Texas Tech, Purdue, Tulsa and Marquette. |
