Austin Hill |
Austin Hill has announced that he will continue his basketball career at Illinois State. Hill averaged 15.2 points, 4 rebounds and 2.4 assists this past season at Southeastern. He averaged 9.3 points as a freshman. In high school he was voted Northern Kentucky Boys' High School Basketball Player of the Year and averaged 17.8 points and 5.3 rebounds per game for the 25-10 Bulldogs. Hill averaged a team-high 20.7 points and 5.0 rebounds in three state tournament games, while hitting 15 of 16 free throws (93.3 percent) and seven of 17 3-pointers (41.2 percent). He was also was named 9th Region Player of the Year at the Northern Kentucky Basketball Coaches' Association Awards Banquet. As a Junior he was named the NKAC Division I Player of the Year. He averaged 16.5 points per game, 6.2 rebounds, shot 56% from the field as a Junior. |
