ISU jumped on the Blue Jays early racing out to a double digit lead in the first 10 minutes of the game. They held a double digit advantage for most of the remainder of the half and the first five minutes of the second half. At one point ISU hit 5 straight 3 pointers, 3 by Shawn Jeppson one by Rich Beyers and one by Tarise Bryson. But Creighton rallied from a 16 point second half deficit to take a 7 point lead and held on to beat ISU 86-83 after a last second 3 point attempt by Tarise Bryson rattled in and out at the buzzer. Bryson paced ISU with 31 points and 4 assists. Chad Mazanowski was the teams leading rebounder with a career high 8.
