ISU fought hard battling a full court press most of the game. They handled it well for the first 32 minutes leading most of the way. But a 2 minute stretch between 8 and 6 minutes to go where the press forced 3 turnover and Creighton hit back to back threes did them in. Creighton took the lead and never looked back. They led by as many as 11 before ISU made their final run but could get no closer than 5 and lost 68-63. Ryan Crowley and Victor Williams led ISU with 16 points. Vic also had a team high 7 assists. Shawn Jeppson played another good game scoring 10, including 5 late in the game. LeRoy Watkins grabbed a team high 9 rebounds. Tarise Bryson played 26 minutes but didn't score and Kyle Cartmill was limited to 5 minutes on the floor and no points. Both were playing with serious injuries and gave it their all but were simply unable to be effective.
