ISU's Jamar Smiley did not play as he served the last game of a 4 game suspension. Kenneth Pierson(knee injury) and Nic Stotler did not play or dress. Loroy Watkins returned for the first time after dislocating his shoulder in preseason practice.Rico Hill returned to the starting line up.Sam Oakey,Duany Duany and Ty Calderwood did not play for Wisconsin.Channel 31 televised the game.

The Birds were dominated on the inside ,although they finished with a 29-21 rebounding advantage,as Wisconsin scored at will.The Badgers shot 65% from the field hitting everything they threw up.It was another poor ball handling night for the Birds(22 turnovers) where the kept shooting themselves in the foot instead of into the game.This game showed just how much ISU misses Jamar in the game.Steve Hansell fresh off of a 11 assist/0 turnover performance had 8 turnovers and 0 assists.

Rico led ISU in scoring with 19 pts. and rebounding with 6.Dan Muller scored 12 and Skipp Schaefbauer scored 16 to round out the double digit performances.Skipp also had 7 assists and Dan grabbed 5 rebounds.

Sean Mason led the Badgers with 20 points(a career high) while Hennsy Auriantal scored 18 and Mark Vershaw had 12.
