ISU's 1st exhibition game vs
The Converse All-Stars
November 8th

The Converse All-Stars pulled out a win against ISU (104-98) going ahead for good with 1:20 to go in the game.ISU's bench was severely depleated for a variety of reasons. Jamar Smiley didn't play as he served the 1st game of a 4 game suspension.Rob Gibbons served a 1 game suspension for failing to get written permission before playing in an NCAA authorized league game last summer.Rico Hill (foot injury),Leroy Watkins (dislocated shoulder) and Kenneth Pierson(knee injury) also did not play.Nic Stotler dressed but did not play for an unknown reason.Jamar(point guard),Rico(power forward) and Leroy(center) are starters.Rob(center) and Kenneth(power forward) are key reserves. Nic(point guard) is a walk on .

Kyle Cartmill had a huge game for the Birds scoring 31 points,grabbing 7 rebounds,handing out 7 assists and grabbing 3 steals.He went 10 of 13 from the field and 7 of 8 from behind the arc with the lone miss being a last second shot.He was also 4-4 from the free throw line.

Ben Holmstrom scored 26 points and had 1 assist.Ben was 10 of 14 from the field and 3 of 4 from the free throw line.He was also 3 of 4 from the 3 point line.

Dan Muller scored 10 points,had 9 rebounds and 6 assists.Skipp Schaefbauer scored 13 points,5 rebounds and 4 assists.Steve Hansell tied Kyle with a team high 7 assists.Ronald vanVelzen grabbed 5 rebounds.
