Tarise Bryson scored 21 points in the first half, 25 for the game, to lead the Birds to victory in their first exhibition game. ISU was never threatened in the game. Randy Rice added 5 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 steals and only 1 turnover. Shedrick Ford scored 15 and pulled down 6 rebounds. Newcomers Baboucarr Bojang and Casey Reid added 12 points and 7 rebounds and 10 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Shawn Jeppson scored 12 points off the bench.
